Browser, Cookies, and Pop-Ups: The Hidden Causes of SinglePoint Access Problems
Modern authentication often relies on redirects, cookies, and security handoffs. If any one of these is blocked, SinglePoint access can fail—sometimes without a clear error message.
Cookies
- Enable cookies for the portal domain.
- If your browser blocks third-party cookies, test in a private window and adjust site settings if needed.
Pop-ups and redirects
- Allow pop-ups for the portal during sign-in.
- Watch for a new window opening behind your current window.
Extensions
Script blockers, ad blockers, and privacy extensions can break login flows. Test with extensions disabled, or use a clean browser profile.
Cache and saved sessions
If you see redirect loops, clear site data for the portal or use an incognito window. Then retry the login flow end-to-end.
